I too am using a Mallory are you sure it cant be set to 3psi of fuel pressure(different spring)?I would think 9 would flood the engine out.Using that much fuel pressure you in effect have no main jet the fuel is just being force fed by the regulator into the engine.Did you install an 02 sensor?When we were tuning my bike I dont think we touched the main air jet we did howerever plug the hole that had been drilled in the slide when the orignal Dynojet kit was installed helping to keep the slides from blowing open. On another carb related note has anyone switched from CV carbs to flatslides and would you recomend it?
