All, Just to let you all know about the sprints we have had on Saturday here on Jersey, (Channel Islands, UK........not really turbo bike stuff I know, but hey!!) In case some of you don't know, a sprint here is defined as qtr of a mile, but not in a straight line, (this course had a medium right then a long sweeping left in it). Lots of bikes, Honda CR250 crossers did well, best time was just under 13 secs for them. Lots of blades and GSX-R750's, best was about 11.3 secs. Then this GSX-R 1100 turns up, skips the front wheel off the line.....10.8 second run....it was ace!!! Just as a comparison, a guy has brought a March race car, with an ex-Formula 1 engine in it...600bhp. He did it in 10.22!!!! Imagine if the GSX-R was turbo-charged!! That's all Cheers Paul
