Turbobike Web Site www.Turborick.com
Many thanks to everyone who replied to my original posting. I now have some good leads to follow up including a local firm here in the UK. :-) Speaking to people, and looking at sites on the web another question has risen. Are the standard 1127 pistons, and more to the point con-rods up to the job? I thought not, but as an example the MR.Turbo web site gives a cost and performance comparison between a tuned NA, and a turbo GSX-R11. Their site shows the turbo 11 making 230bhp at the wheel using standard pistons and rods. But as they make no mention of upgrading ANY components, not even the clutch, (I know a standard clutch won't handle 230bhp without shredding itself!) I wonder is this just some rather optimistic sales pitch or are these 1127 motors really this strong in standard trim? Good luck with the land speed attempt a Edwards Rick.
