[turbobike] Exhaust flang and turbo gaskets

Any thoughts on the appropriate material to use for the exhaust flange gaskets and turbo gasket.  I purchased some material from a local speed shop that relatively cheep and supposed to be designed for this application (i.e. exhaust flanges).  It seemed like an  inexpensive place to start.  I had a recommendation for using .062 copper sheeting but did not what to go that far just yet.  Anyone have experience in this area?  As always, any input is appreciated.
