I think I might have missed the previous mail somehow but (I'm guessing - you want more boost?) To increase the boost just let out some air from the pipe that goes to the waste-gate from the inlet manifold, via a jet of some kind, preferably adjustable (needle valve), I used to use a solenoid supplied by a airline specialist (12v - like a nitrous / fuel solenoid) that opened in high gears, or when I pushed a button.. It then takes more pressure (due to the pipe dia. ) to open the diaphram wastegate. Actually I ran a roadbike, that went to high(er) boost and N2O + 6 degrees less advance, when you pushed THE button. 2nd stage of gas came in during gear 3 due to the gear position sensor, not ideal but not enough thumbs left... ----- Original Message ----- From: <ABNZX9@aol.com> To: <turbobike@natvideo.com> Sent: 22 May 1999 21:53 Subject: Re: [turbobike] Boost Controllers > Would that be the boost pressure line that goes to the turbo from say the > intake plenum? >
