There are 2 different ways to use carbs on aturbo bike.First is the
traditonal draw thru system where the turbo is located between the carb and
the head. The turbo draws fresh air and fuel thru the turbo. While this system
does work it is not the best for streetriding.Usually with a draw thru system
carburation response isnt as good, you also cannot use an intercooler with a
draw thru system.
The other type is known as a blown thru and this can be using carbs or fuel
injection. The advantages to blow thru is that you can utilize the stock
carbs, intercooling, throttle reponse and idle are much closer to
stock.Disadvantage is that a blow thru is somewhat harder to tune then a draw
thru for someone with little or no experience.
