The other type is known as a blown thru and this can be using carbs or fuel injection.The advantages to blow thru is that you can utilize the stock carbs,intercooling, throttle reponse and idle are much closer to stock.Disadvantage is that a blow thru is somewhat harder to tune then a draw thru for someone with little or no experience.
