Hi Christer I have used the same gearing for drag racing with good results now I am using a 17 front and a 42 rear also the bike is now being used more for land speed racing and less for the street. I'm getting ready for a race on the 14 of this month and I still have a lot of testing to do also. I hope you kick some but at that dyno shoot out I also will be in one next month. I would like to see your dyno sheet Thanks Turbo Rick Web page 300HP Turbo GSXR1100 Street bike, Technical, Pictures http://www.ptw.com/~gsxr1100 -----Original Message----- From: christer johansson <christer.johansson@mbox383.swipnet.se> To: gsxr1100@ptw.com <gsxr1100@ptw.com> Date: Thursday, June 04, 1998 1:22 PM Subject: Assistance >Hi Rick! >Thank You for Your kind assistance. >I´m just back from a 1/4 mile testing session at the local old shutdown >airport >with good results, I´m using a 17teeth front sprocket instead of the >stock >15teeth and stock rear sprocket it works real good, it just barely lifts >the front wheel >in third gear and gives usable acceleration already in second, this with >1,3bar of boost. >I´m entering a dynojet horsepower competition in a couple of weeks, I >can mail You >the result and dyno sheet if You want. >regards Christer J >
